The Advising Forms & Resources You Need

Here, you'll find many of the tools and resources you'll need to inform yourself and prepare for your advising appointment.

Arts & Sciences Degree Requirements:

  • UNO General Education Requirements
  • Arts & Sciences Breadth Requirements
    • Option 1: Complete any UNO minor
    • Option 2: Additional general education courses
    • Option 3: Complete either an approved Comprehensive Major (as primary major) or a 2nd major
  • Bachelor of Arts vs. Bachelor of Science Requirements
    • Bachelor of Arts: Complete 4 semesters of a world language
    • Bachelor of Science: Complete cognate courses (dependent on student's major)
  • Major Requirements
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Minimum 120 total credits
    • Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
    • 30 out of the last 36 credits taken through UNO
    • Minimum 27 credits in upper-division (3000/4000 level) courses
