Welcome to Detachment 470!

Congratulations on your selection into an Enlisted Commissioning Program! Your selection speaks volumes about your accomplishments and your ability. We are excited to have you join Detachment 470 while you complete your degree program.

In-Processing

Once you are notified you will be assigned to Detachment 470, please send us an email at unoafrotc@unomaha.edu.

Based on the number of ECP students arriving, an In-Processing Date will most likely be set after your arrival date. You must report to the Detachment by your reporting date.

Visiting the Detachment

For parking, if arriving before 1230 PM, only use Lots A & C with the Park Omaha app or by paying at the kiosk.

After 12:30 P.M., you may use the East Parking Garage with the Park Omaha app or by paying at the kiosk. The East Parking Garage is free on Fridays.

Uniform of the Day

The UOD will be worn when attending any official appointment within the Detachment.

You will be asked to reschedule the appointment if you are not in proper uniform attire.

In-Processing - OCPs/Flight Suit
Out-Processing - OCPs/Flight Suit
Fitness Assessments - PTUs (IAW 36-2905)

Note: Uniform wear is not required while attending classes.


Fitness Assessments

Students must schedule an appointment through the NCOs at Detachment 470. Testing can take place at UNO or Offutt AFB if you choose, however, it will be administered by the Det (Note: Offutt AFB will not test ECP students). Contact the NCOs NLT 2 weeks before requested test date.


Leave Requests

Please ensure you update your LeaveWeb account to Detachment 470 (MAJCOM: ACC BASE: Offutt UNIT: AFROTC DET 470).

If requesting Ordinary Leave please submit through LeaveWeb to your Supervisor. We encourage you to use your leave to the max extent possible during the summer and school breaks. Only extraordinary circumstances will allow leave during the academic term.

If requesting Convalescent Leave, Overseas Leave or Permissive TDY please coordinate with your Supervisor and the Detachment Commander before submiting though LeaveWeb.

Weekly muster is a requirement and is conducted virtually every Monday by using the form below or by accessing the form here.
