Fall Semester 2025 - 22 August @ 0800 - 1500

University of Nebraska at Omaha

Air Force ROTC Detachment 470 invites all incoming cadets, parents, guardians, and spouses to New Cadet Orientation. At this orientation you will finalize any required paperwork and receive critical information for your first few weeks as a new cadet. This is required training for incoming cadets if you are unable to attend orientation due to personal matters or schedule conflicts, please still complete the form below and respond as applicable.

Orientation Will Include:

  • Administrative Paperwork
  • Physical Training Gear & Detachment Polo Issue
  • Question & Answer session with current cadets and cadre
  • Intro to Air Force ROTC basics

Prerequisites:

  • RSVP for New Cadet Orientation Day: Click here
  • Complete Inbound Cadet Guide

Additional Information:

  • Park in the East Parking Garage on the top level (free parking on Fridays)
  • Detachment 470 is located by the entrance to the East Parking Garage
  • Volunteers will be available to help guide you to the correct location
