We understand math can be challenging and are committed to supporting our scholars. TLC scholars have access to a TLC math tutor to help scholars outside of the classroom.

The TLC math tutor for the 2022/2023 year is Sophia Marks.

Sophia is available to meet with students for math help in the TLC Computer Lab and MathMaverick Zone.

About Sophia

Sophia is currently an instructor in Mathematics at UNO. Previously, she attended Peru State College to receive her bachelor's degree in mathematics.

Growing up, her family moved around quite a bit, one of the more memorable places that she has lived in Maryland by the beach.

Her hobbies include knitting, listening to indie rock bands, and trying really hard at being an amazing five-star baker.
