Welcome to TLC at UNO!

TLC is excited for you to join us at UNO!

TLC welcomes transfer students with open arms! We want all scholars to feel like they are a part of the TLC community. Transfer students should expect to meet with a TLC Specialist and be welcomed into the TLC Learning Community to help learn about the opportunities available to them.

TLC is also dedicated to making the adjustment to UNO as smooth as possible and offering events for prospective transfers to learn more about our community.

First-Year Transfer Students

Transferring during your first year can be an intimidating experience. After being familiar with their first college, transferring students may feel that they need to start all over again. The Thompson Learning Community is here to support transfer students in this transition, and beyond!

Second-Year Transfer Students

You may feel like they have college figured out or may be looking to restart their college experience. Either way, the UNO Thompson Learning Community is here to help make the most out of your sophomore year at UNO.

Transferring After Your Second Year

Transfer Students, beyond their second year, may feel like TLC is not a place for them, however, TLC is here for you even though there are no requirements. We want you to know that we are here for you. TLC is dedicated to helping you make the most out of your college career.
