The STEM TRAIL Center also encourages dual pathway teachers. These teachers graduate with a degree in the field in which they desire (e.g. mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) to teach and obtain an education degree.
Alternatively, they can complete a degree in their science or mathematics discipline and complete a teaching endorsement to qualify for Noyce Scholarships (in Mathematics or Science).
