UNO Math Lab

The UNO Math Lab, located on the second floor of the Durham Science Center (DSC 209), coordinates Math 1310 (Intermediate Algebra) and Math 1320 (College Algebra) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

What can the UNO Math Lab do for you?

The Math Lab operates with the student’s success in mind. A trained instructor leads small groups through discussions, activities and problems emphasizing group dynamics and student-student interaction (Room 212).  Quiet Study (Room 211B) is available after your Facilitated Group instruction so that you can get personal and immediate help with your homework. This website provides links to connect you to much more information about the UNO Math Lab and other support offices on campus.

What do you need to do?

In order to get the very most from the course, it is important to attend class and complete homework assignments daily. Student responsibilities consist of the following: do examples as well as homework problems (keep a notebook for homework), come to class with questions over homework, look over new section(s) prior to class meeting, take an active part in class discussions and problem solving, and work practice problems on MyUNO to prepare for tests. Come to Quiet Study as often as needed for assistance -- GET HELP IN THE "DOING" PROCESS OF ALGEBRA!
