What We Do
Marketing and Brand Management
Marketing and Brand Management works to cultivate public awareness of UNO. This is done by sharing the UNO story by creating a defined university brand that is conveyed throughout every facet of campus and our community by way of dynamic publications, banners and bus benches, sky-high billboards, and coordinated events.
Areas of coverage include brand awareness, graphic design, copywriting, event planning, photography, and videography.
Digital Communications works to strategically expand UNO's online and digital presence. Areas of support include strategy and tools that assist in delivering secure, accessible and brand-approved content across many platforms. This includes the Content Management System (CMS) support, social media management, external digital signage, email newsletters and analytics framework.
These channels are governed by the Digital Communications Executive Committee Governance process.

Photography and Videography
One of the most effective and compelling tools for expressing the character of the UNO brand is the use of dynamic photography.
The University Communications multimedia specialist may be contacted for more information about scheduling photograph/video coverage.
Event Planning Consultation
University Communications is responsible for the planning and execution of several campuswide events including May and December commencements, Faculty and Student Honors Convocations, and more.
