Other Web Analytics Tools
Crazyegg is a visual clickmap tool used in a variety of targeted test cases to assist with web projects that have been added to the roadmap or on the Digital Communications roadmap.
Any inquiries to have a page tracked can be sent by submitting a form to ucomm.unomaha.edu/start. Because the tool is limited, only select clickmaps can be set per month and for a set duration. University Communications can discuss with you your needs.
For a variety of executively approved projects remote user testing can be used to have real people test an application, page or task. Because the tests cost money only when used, requests for this tool are usually connected to a project. Connect with University Communications if you feel you could benefit from user testing.
Social and Media Monitoring
Internally the University Communications team uses some tools to monitor social and traditional media. The team is exploring enterprise tools and discussing with the community if this would be useful on an enterprise scale. The tools currently used are Hootsuite and Meltwater.
