Emi is currently working as a CNA and recently started a research position with UNMC's Munroe-Meyer Institute. Previously, as a Scott Scholars Design Studio intern, she partnered with Nebraska Medicine to develop user-centered solutions that improved the emergency room waiting experience. On campus, Emi is involved in Zeta Tau Alpha, and helped raise over ten-thousand dollars last semester to support breast cancer education and awareness. Following graduation, Emi plans to attend medical school, with interests in emergency medicine, oncology, and neurology.
