Scott Scholars engage in an enriched undergraduate educational experience that integrates curricular and co-curricular learning. Challenging by design, the program equips students with the technical, social, emotional, and problem-solving skills necessary to excel as STEM leaders in their communities and chosen professions.

Books, Fees, Room and Board

All Scott Scholars are also recipients of the Regents Scholarship through UNO, which covers tuition. The Scott Scholarship covers the cost of books, fees, materials, technology, and room and board associated with your studies. Scott Scholars are also provided with a personal computer for use during the duration of the scholarship.

Scott Scholars live and study in Scott Residence Hall.

Experiential Learning

It is a high priority for program leadership to provide engaging and impactful opportunities to Scott Scholars outside of their rigorous academic workloads. These experiential learning opportunities range from traveling to industry- or topic-specific conferences to time to unique local experiences.
