Additional Information

This past summer, Louis was a Scott Scholars Design Studio intern and partnered with the MidAmerica Council/Scouting America to explore solutions for improving membership retention. Working with a team of interns, he helped develop a wireframe for a youth involvement app and gained hands-on experience in full stack development using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and the Ionic Angular framework. In addition, Louis is proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. On campus, Louis is an active member of UNO’s American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) chapter. He is also a longtime Taekwondo student and instructor, earning his 1st degree black belt at age 15 and 2nd degree at 18. Louis is interested in pursuing a career in transportation and construction within the field of civil engineering.
