Andrew Rothe

Andrew continued his work this summer as an undergraduate research assistant in the Park Vascular and Metabolic Phenotyping Research Laboratory at UNO, where he conducts metabolic phenotyping experiments, prepares and processes biopsy samples, and supports studies investigating vascular and metabolic health. He also assists with community fitness testing, including assessments of vascular function, resting metabolic rate, body composition, and aerobic fitness. Through this research, Andrew has developed a strong foundation in translational biomedical research while preparing for a future in medicine. He plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician.
