Additional Information

Sarah currently works as a research technician at the Munroe-Meyer Institute, supporting individuals with disabilities, and as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Wong’s neuroscience lab at UNO. Previously, Sarah was a Scott Scholars Design Studio intern and collaborated with UNeMed to help outside clinics access UNMC’s antibiogram system by developing a wireframe and website prototype with a team of six interns. As Scrum Master, she led three developers in using Agile methods to build an Ionic-Angular application. She is also skilled in Java, Unity, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Firebase, and Git. In addition to her technical skillset, Sarah has hands-on lab experience with PCR, gel electrophoresis, micropipetting, and zebrafish research. Following graduation, Sarah plans to pursue a PhD in computational neuroscience.
