Additional Information
Joshua currently works as a CNA at Nebraska Medicine. Previously, as a Scott Scholars Design Studio intern, he and his team partnered with the local nonprofit Collective for Hope and designed and implemented strategies that raised public awareness of their mission in Omaha. During this internship, he also worked on a separate project in which he helped create a web application with HTML, CSS, and TypeScript to improve transparency around patient wait times at walk-in clinics. In high school, Joshua served on the Operation Others Core Team, coordinating food drives for over 4,000 children annually and leading more than 100 volunteers to distribute meals to families in need. After graduation, he plans to attend medical school to become a physician and is considering pursuing an MD/PhD program.
