Joshua works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Nebraska Medicine in the Werner Cancer Clinic, building meaningful clinical experience through direct patient care. He also volunteers as a research assistant at UNMC under the direction of Dr. Panagiotis, focusing on peripheral artery disease. In addition, he recently started his own research project funded by the NASA Nebraska Space Grant and will focus on the relationship between microgravity and the microvascular system using an in vitro model. At UNO, Joshua serves as senator for the College of Arts and Sciences. Following graduation, he plans to attend medical school and is considering pursuing an MD/PhD to combine clinical practice with biomedical research.
