Additional Information
On campus, John is actively involved in the UNO Salsa Club and Maverick Young Democrats, reflecting his engagement in both cultural and civic spheres. In high school, John was routinely recognized for his diverse skillset, having earned awards such as Top Entrepreneurship Student and District Champion in Serious Prose in 2024. He also served as vice president of his class during his senior year. He plans to pursue a double major in biochemistry and molecular and biomedical biology (MBB) with dual minors in chemistry and Japanese. Following graduation, he hopes to attend UNMC for medical school.
