John participated in the Scott Scholars Design Studio Internship this summer, partnering with Partnership 4 Kids to develop innovative solutions that strengthened the organization's impact and support for students. At UNO, he is actively involved in the Salsa Club and Maverick Young Democrats, reflecting his interests in cultural engagement and civic leadership. John is pursuing a double major in biochemistry and molecular and biomedical biology (MBB), along with minors in chemistry and Japanese. He plans to attend medical school at UNMC, combining his interests in science, service, and lifelong learning.
