Kritika participated in UNMC's Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP), conducting research with the Child Health Research Institute in the Department of Pediatrics. Earlier in the year, she completed the Scott Scholars Hands-on Research and Practical Skills (SHARPS) program, gaining laboratory experience in cell culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, and other foundational biomedical research techniques, in addition to an R coding bootcamp that focused on data cleaning and statistical analysis in medical research. Outside the laboratory, Kritika works as a medication aide at Compassionate Memory Care through Methodist Hospital, providing compassionate care to residents in end-of-life care. At UNO, she serves as the community engagement director for Dance Marathon and is actively involved in the Healing Hearts Project, Healthroots, Medical Journalism, and the Asian Student Union. She plans to attend medical school following graduation.
