Rachael Jaixen

Rachael served as a Scott Scholars Design Studio team leader this summer, mentoring four incoming Scott Scholars while guiding them through the design thinking process and principles of human-centered design. Through the experience, she strengthened her leadership, communication, and project management skills while helping her team develop innovative solutions for the Empowerment and Independence Alliance. Outside the classroom, Rachael works as a dance instructor at Nebraska Dance, where she enjoys mentoring and inspiring young students. She plans to attend medical school and pursue a career as a pediatrician.
