Additional Information
This past summer, Dawson gained valuable hands-on experience through the Scott Scholars Design Studio Internship, where he assisted the local nonprofit Collective for Youth in addressing visibility challenges and participated in a coding bootcamp to build his programming skills. He has proficiency in AutoCAD fundamentals and practical experience using programs such as Google Earth Pro. On campus, Dawson is a dedicated member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Nebraska Engineering Student Council at Omaha (NESCO). Following graduation, Dawson plans to leverage his technical and leadership abilities to pursue a career in civil engineering.
