Additional Information
Mary is involved in several campus organizations, including UNO’s Women’s Club Volleyball and Women’s Club Soccer teams, as well as the Chemistry Club and Pre-Dental Club. She balances her academics and extracurriculars with work as a cashier at Hy-Vee, where she provides excellent customer service, and as a referee for Omaha Suburban Volleyball. Mary also has valuable experience working with children. She served as a camp counselor for Omaha Parks and Recreation this past summer, where she managed groups of kids, addressed behavior issues, and provided first aid when needed. Additionally, she worked as a student intern for Omaha Public Schools at Masters Elementary, tutoring students in reading and math. Through these roles, Mary has developed strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills—qualities that will serve her well as she pursues her goal of becoming a dentist.
