Additional Information

Ryland has gained valuable experience through internships that combine technology, leadership, and innovation. As a tech intern with Small World Charities, he developed practical IT and problem-solving skills. More recently, through the Scott Scholars Design Studio internship, he led a team of five intern developers as Scrum Master using Agile development principles to design and build an app with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS within Ionic Angular. Together, the team collaborated with Nebraska Medicine’s Emergency Department to enhance the ER experience for over 90,000 patients annually. In addition, Ryland has experience with Salesforce. At UNO, Ryland is a member of the on-campus computer science club, NULLify. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a career in cybersecurity.
