- Neuroscience
This summer, Georgia conducted research in Dr. Ryan Wong's Behavioral Neurogenomics and Neuroendocrinology Lab at UNO, where she studied how the brain and genes influence stress, learning, and behavior. She also completed a research methods course to strengthen her research skills. Outside the laboratory, Georgia works as a child care assistant at Common Ground, where she supports children's development by creating engaging learning experiences that complement her interest in neuroscience and human behavior. Following graduation, Georgia aspires to earn a Ph.D. and pursue a career in research, allowing her to combine her passion for understanding the brain and human behavior with her desire to be an innovative changemaker in healthcare.
