This summer, Bella worked with AI-CCORE at UNO as a technology intern, helping drive their mission to foster the next generation of AI specialists and leaders via the ethical deployment of AI. Previously, she's worked as a Scott Scholars Design Studio intern. Bella is proficient in Python, SML, and Cytoscape and has emerging proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Ionic Base, C, JavaScript, and Latex. She maintains an active presence in the community, previously as a volunteer at Planned Parenthood and currently with the Omaha Jitterbugs. After graduation, Bella is interested in a career at the intersection of mathematics and computer programming.
