Ria works at Urgent Care assisting with patient intake, in addition to her role as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Pendyala's lab in UNMC's Department of Anesthesiology. At UNO, she is involved in Special Olympics Unified Club and Chemistry Club. Ria is a Girl Scout and received the Gold Award for raising awareness of hygiene poverty. After graduation, Ria plans to attend medical school.
