This summer, Connor worked as a data analyst for UNMC's Nebraska Harm Reduction Program, a community-based program that combines the leadership of a lived-experience instructor with the evidence-based support of the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Public Health to help address drug addiction. Connor also has experience as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and he regularly volunteers in the emergency department at Nebraska Medicine. After graduation, Connor plans to attend medical school and eventually become an orthopedic surgeon.
