Mary continued her work as a CNA at Nebraska Medicine this summer. Previously, she participated in UNMC's Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP), working in Dr. Sil's lab in the pharmacology and experimental neuroscience department. Mary also regularly volunteers on the pediatric unit at Nebraska Medicine. At UNO, Mary serves as the morale team chair for Dance Marathon and is a member of Alpha Xi Delta, serving as the administration director. Following graduation, Mary plans to attend medical school and is interested in the field of ophthalmology.
