Heyat Seid

Heyat worked as a software engineering intern at BHMI this summer, where she developed a Python script to automate comparisons of hundreds of configuration files and helped engineer automated end-to-end UI tests using Java and Selenium to validate functionality across the Concourse Financial Software Suite. Previously, she worked alongside Dr. Magie Hall at UNO in collaboration with Los Alamos National Laboratory on a project focused on utilizing computer vision for damage detection. During the school year, she works as an IT consultant, assisting with tech issues across campus. Heyat has proficiency in Python, React, Agile, Flask, Docker, Jupyter, and GitHub. After graduation, she hopes to become an indie game developer and own a cafe.
