Salah worked as a pharmacy technician this past summer in addition to his part-time EMT role. Previously, he participated in the Summer Health Professions Education Program through UNMC and was a Scott Scholars Design Studio intern, working with Millard Public Schools to improve their STEM programming. Following graduation, Salah aspires to become a neurosurgeon with a specialized focus on neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's. He is particularly interested in integrating computer science with medicine in order to develop innovative solutions for neurological disorders.
