This summer, Alec worked as an electrical intern at HDR and contributed to wastewater, data center, and healthcare projects while improving his proficiency in KiCad, Revit, Bluebeam, and SKM. Previously, he participated in the Scott Scholars Design Studio Internship and partnered with the Henry Doorly Zoo. He also has experience as a service and construction tech at Petersen Ag Systems, and is the owner of his own landscaping company. Alec has experience with Arduino, 3D printing, and Fusion 360. At UNO, he is a member of the Nebraska Engineering Student Council at Omaha (NESCO) and serves as a Deputy Grand Knight for the JPII Newman Center Knights of Columbus Council. Previously, he served as FrESCO Chair for the Nebraska Engineering Student Council at Omaha. Following graduation, Alec is planning to pursue a career in electrical engineering.
