Mollie is currently an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Gould's lab at UNMC working on a project centered around immunology and autoimmunity. In 2025, she was selected for Nebraska's Institutional Development Awards (IDeA) Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) Scholars Program and is continuing as a scholar in the program. As an INBRE scholar, she has done research with Dr. Jill Blankenship and Dr. Eric Guisbert at UNO. Previously, she participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) at UNMC, working in a regenerative medicine lab focused on developing hydrogels for acute lung injury. Outside of the lab, Mollie is the vice president of the UNO Explore Biology Club regularly volunteers at UNMC. After graduation, Mollie plans to pursue a PhD and career in biomedical research.
