Kristen Lee

Kristen works in UNO's Additive Manufacturing Lab under the direction of Dr. Zuniga and at UNMC's Munroe-Meyer Institute as an undergraduate researcher, working with children with cerebral palsy and utilizing brain-computer interface technology to leverage virtual reality video games as a form of physical therapy. She has previous experience as a patient safety assistant at Nebraska Medicine. At UNO, Kristen is a member of the Maverick Machine Pep Band and serves as the outreach chair for the Quizbowl Club. Outside of school and work, she volunteers at Felius Cafe, a nonprofit cat rescue. Following graduation, Kristen is interested in a career in neurorehabilitation, brain-computer interface technology, computational neuroscience, and pediatric research.
