Angelique currently works at UNMC as an EEG assistant, monitoring video for epileptic activity, and as a mobility aide, gaining hands-on medical experience. She also conducts research in the Molecular Parasitology Lab at UNO, focusing on novel anti-infective agents. As a 2023 Scott Scholars Design Studio intern, she partnered with Give Nebraska and helped develop a web application to engage younger donors and streamline the donation process. On campus, Angelique is involved with the Scott Scholars “Let’s Talk About It” group and is a member of the Chemistry Club. Following graduation, Angelique plans to pursue a career in medicine with the goal of becoming a pediatrician.
