Experiences and Involvement

In high school, Shreeya was a member of the National Honors Society, where she served on the Leadership Council. In this role, she helped organize and execute events to benefit various charities such as the Ronald McDonald House. She was the President of French Honors Society, where she organized lessons to introduce elementary schoolers to the French language and participated in the Mustang Mentoring Program, providing advice and moral support to freshmen.

Shreeya was involved with the Secretary of Interact Club sponsored by Rotary International. She organized numerous fundraisers to donate to girls’ education in South Sudan and Heifer International, and to provide impoverished families in farming areas with livestock.

As a teen volunteer at CHI Lakeside, she aided visitors and patients through services at the welcome desk, gift shop, and maternity center. She also worked with Diversify Our Narrative to spread awareness and the importance on diversifying the literature, studied in schools. 

Career Interests

Shreeya is pursuing a career in the medical field and would like to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist.
