Jossen currently works as a derivative risk intern at Scoular, where he performs econometric and quantitative analyses on different agricultural derivatives via code and Excel. Previously, as an accounting data intern with National Indemnity Company, Jossen was responsible for reconciliation of files, data management, and writing for the accounting ledger daily. Through these experiences, Jossen has gained proficiency in Python, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and Microsoft Excel. For his Community Action Project, Jossen and his team partnered with Special Spaces to design, organize, and launch the inaugural Special Strides 5K event. Their efforts successfully raised over $34,000—enough to fund four custom bedroom makeovers. After graduation, Jossen is considering graduate school and plans to pursue a career in forensic accounting and banking.
