  • Dual Enrollment Program at UNO

What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual enrollment allows academically talented students to earn college credit while still in high school and get a head start on their college degree.

  • How to Apply for Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment

High school students enroll in a UNO course at their high school that also fulfills high school graduation requirements. College credit earned through the dual enrollment program is based on a student's cumulative performance throughout the duration of the UNO Dual Credit course.

Early Entry

Early Entry is meant for high school students to enroll in a UNO course that is not available at their high school. These courses are typically taught on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus, but may also be taught online depending on the course and availability.

Advanced Placement®

Earning college credit through Advanced Placement® depends on how well students perform on the national AP® exam in May. Not every student who passes an AP® course will achieve a score high enough on the national AP® exam to earn college credit.
