Mission

The mission of the Grace Abbott School of Social Work is to educate students to become highly qualified social workers who serve people of all ages and influence the systems that affect them, to advance knowledge through teaching and research, and to engage with diverse communities to promote socially just societies.

Student Handbook

The Grace Abbott School of Social Work delineates information necessary for the successful pursuit of the undergraduate and graduate social work degrees offered at UNO in the form of a student handbook. All social work students are expected to read the handbook applicable to the program in which they are enrolled.
