Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation

The Susan T. Buffett Foundation has offered scholarships to college students in Nebraska for over 50 years. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to:

  • First-time, entering freshmen who live in Nebraska and meet the in-state residency requirements of the college they plan to attend
  • Graduates of a Nebraska high school with plans to attend a Nebraska public institution
  • Students who have demonstrated financial need

National Fellowships and Scholarships

Academically successful students who are interested in furthering their excellence at, and beyond, UNO should consider applying for a prestigious national fellowship or scholarship; many of these are open to all fields and have differing expectations of academic excellence and engagement.
