Congratulations on your provisional license! GATSA provides supervision that meets Nebraska state licensing requirements for individuals working toward the following licenses: CMSW, LMHP, and LIMHP. Our supervisors do not sign off on clinical notes, submit supervisory billing, or complete Medicaid IDIs or assessments.

Each of our supervisors brings unique backgrounds, knowledge, and experience to the supervision process. To read more about our supervisors and view their availability, feel free to browse their biographies. For questions and to complete registration, please reach out to Katie Robbins (klrobbins@unomaha.edu).

Yes! GATSA’s director, Katie Robbins, offers consultation sessions for anyone seeking to review a case, discuss an ethical concern, navigate the ASWB exam, or receive support with other professional challenges. If Katie is not the best resource for your needs, she will provide referrals within the GATSA network to better meet your needs.

See Katie’s availability for consultation.

GATSA offers three methods of support for the ASWB clinical exam:

  1. Our self-paced Path to Pass course, an asynchronous on-demand course providing videos, documents, and study plans to help participants learn effective strategies for success on the exam.
  2. The ASWB Success Lab. Join instructor Katie Robbins, LICSW for a supportive, strategy-focused day of learning that will help you: identify the most effective study resources, learn how to interpret challenging exam questions, manage anxiety and stay focused, connect with peers and build a study network, and gain confidence for exam day.
  3. An individual consultation with Katie Robbins, LICSW. In this one-hour consultation, Katie will provide individualized support based on your needs. Whether this is your first time taking the exam or your tenth, Katie will provide tailored, individualized support and feedback specifically on content to study, anxiety management, and reviewing accuracy with test materials.

GATSA regularly provides training on Nebraska licensure and is always happy to answer questions that arise. Visit our Licensure and Certification page to view a breakdown of Nebraska licensure requirements. Current MSW students will receive information on licensure at the end of the spring and fall semesters. If you are a supervisor in the community and seeking additional information about licensure, please reach out to Katie Robbins (klrobbins@unomaha.edu).

GATSA is nationally accredited through the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) program, as well as the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) program. Through these accreditations, the CEUs provided meet requirements in most states. For state-specific requirements and questions, please contact your state’s licensing board.

GATSA provides high-quality continuing education opportunities geared toward social workers and mental health practitioners. For those living in Nebraska, GATSA has approved trainings that satisfy specific continuing education requirements in Nebraska, including ethics, major mental health, LADC, and criminogenic credits.
