Collaboratorium BYTES (C-BYTES)
C-BYTES brings together students, advisors, other faculty, professionals from IS&T disciplines, and other community members interested in projects that correlate well within the six identified IS&T Research Collaboratoria.
A collaboratorium is a center without walls, an inclusive environment that promotes excellence in research and innovation for everyone. The collaboratoria have emerged from research and publications that engage our students and the community in use-inspired and pragmatic research and discovery. The format of this showcase creates opportunities for robust interaction across disciplines but within related topics.
Quick-Share Competition
Quick-Share is a challenging rapid-style project presentation competition. It is very similar to what is know as the 3 Minute Thesis—3MT (a registered trademark). Though it is not the same competition, many 3MT resources are available that can help you develop this type of presentation.

Quick-Share competition is limited to 10 registrants, selected by committee (due to time constraints).Quick-Share participants are also invited to participate in Poster-BYTES.
Poster-BYTES Competition
Poster-BYTES is a traditional poster presentation competition. Participants will display project posters and be available to describe their projects and answer viewer questions.
Poster-BYTES Judging Rubric: This TENTATIVE rubric is posted as an informational resource to guide participants and potential judges, only. The official competition-day rubric may vary slightly from this version.
