General Information

Biography

Foluso Ayeni is a full time Faculty with the Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis Department at the University of Nebraska Omaha. He holds a BS and MS degree in Management Information Systems from Covenant University and a Ph.D. in Science and Mathematics from Southern University and A &M College. He is the Executive Secretary, Initiative and Partnerships of the African Society for ICTs (ASICTs) and a member of the Pan-African Scientific Research Council. He has attended several international conferences and published in refereed journal articles.

Teaching Interests

Data Analytics, E-Commerce, Information Systems Analysis and Design, Management Research Seminar, Management Information Systems and Principles of Management.

Research Interests

My research interests includes Educational Technologies, ICT Adoption and Diffusion, Health Informatics, ICT and Development

Service Summary

I was actively involved in piloting and completion of several developmental projects in Sub-Saharan Africa such as the Louisiana Board of Regents Grant: Implementing an Artifact and Theorizing E-Democracy and Citizen Participation in Sub-Saharan Africa, Implementation of Southern University Health Information Technology Laboratory amongst others. I have served as a resource person for Harvard University Global Health Catalyst Conference. I have served as chair, co-chair and technical committee member at several international conferences and workshops.
