Find the Right Program for You

The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences offers programs leading to educator certification in a variety of areas in order to provide students with the opportunity to become successful educators and administrators. We invite you to explore the options.

Education certification (licensure) in Nebraska is based on completion of a teacher preparation program at an accredited four-year training institution.

The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences is accredited for initial certification by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). Initial and advanced programs are approved by the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE).

The College prepares candidates for certification through the initial and advanced programs, added endorsements, and certificate renewals.
