Academic Advising is integral to fulfilling the teaching and learning mission of the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.

Through Academic Advising, students become members of the university community, think critically about their roles and responsibilities as students, and prepare to become educated citizens of a democratic society and a global community.

Students and academic advisors assume shared responsibility in the advising process. The ultimate responsibility for making decisions about educational plans and life goals rests with the student.

Advisors in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences provide a host of services including information about program options and requirements and assist with short and long-term academic plans. The college encourages all majors to maintain regular contact with their academic advisor.

Meet the advising team.
