All students must first apply for admission to the University of Nebraska at Omaha and select the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.

UNO's Undergraduate Admissions reviews and processes all undergraduate applications and transcripts for admission. The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences admits those freshmen students who have "Assured Admission" status and transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5.

College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences Majors

Students admitted to the university as undergraduate students interested in Educator Preparation or Speech-Language Pathology are admitted as pre-majors.

Upon completing identified course work and establishing the specified collegiate grade point average, students must apply for admission to the major. Admission is selective.
