Appointment Types

Resume/Cover Letter Review

Along with our regular appointments, we are also providing an Online Review Tool. Simply fill out the form and attach your resume or cover letter. One of our Career Advisors will review your submission and send you feedback within 3-5 business days.

  • CBA Practice Interview
    • Conduct a tailored practice interview with a CBA Career Center staff member. Students who have participated in practice interviews report a 30% increase in their ability to articulate their strengths and provide examples for their next interview.
  • Interview Strategies
    • The CBA Career Center helps students prepare for interviews. A well prepared interview can provide a wealth of information about the prospective applicant. We offer effective interviewing strategies including the right tools to prepare for an interview and thoughtful interview questions. We make sure that the student thoroughly researches the companies and is well prepared for the interview.
  • Career Exploration
    • We help students explore majors and potential career paths to find what is the right fit for them.
  • Internship and Job Search Strategies
    • The Career Center at CBA empowers students to find the right job or internship. Taking on an internship is a great way to gain experience and make connections. We help students learn how to position themselves as the best candidates.
  • CBA LinkedIn Profile Review
    • The CBA Career Center offers a LinkedIn Profile Review appointment to help students in tailoring their online presence to create maximum opportunities. We help students utilize the power of LinkedIn's technology to develop a valuable network of connections. Please link your current LinkedIn profile to your appointment request if you want an advisor to review your profile prior to the appointment.
  • CBA Career Fair Prep
    • During this appointment, you will learn more about our Virtual Career Fairs and how to connect/network with employers virtually. We will walk you through how to find the career fairs in Handshake, research companies attending the fair and sign up for individual and group sessions to connect with company recruiters.
  • CBA Resume and Cover Letter Review
    • We provide tips for building solid resumes and cover letters. Our goal is to help you identify what is most relevant and what can help deliver the best results.
  • Coffee with the CBA Career Center
    • Wanting to get to know the CBA Career Center and the services we provide? Schedule a 15-20 minute coffee chat to see our office, learn about our appointment types, and schedule a follow up appointment to help you polish your resume, practice for an interview, or prep for the Career Fair. At the end of the appointment, get a voucher for a free drink at Stedman’s Café!
