Opportunities for History Students

History students at UNO have opportunities to use their skills both inside and outside of the classroom.

Learning experiences outside the university encourage students to be connected to the world around them through their knowledge.

Holding an intern position at a museum or the National Parks Service, traveling to Europe for a Study Abroad course, and volunteering for a student organization are all ways that History Majors will grow as informed citizens.

These experiences also introduce students to the multiple career paths within the historical profession. Use the links below to navigate through the resources that are available in the UNO Department of History.
