Protest and Change in Venezuela & Beyond: Current Human Rights Issues in Latin America

Co-sponsored by the Goldstein Center for Human Rights, the Office of Latino/Latin American Studies, and the UNO Chapter of the United Nations Student Association.

Multiple countries in Latin America have experienced massive protests and/or change in governance in the last year, with significant human rights implications. This forum will help attendees understand what is happening now in Venezuela and elsewhere, from UNO faculty with expertise in political and social issues in Latin America.

Speakers will be followed by audience Q&A. Lunch will be served!
