Dr. Barbara Hayhome and David Chesneau Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students in good academic standing as biology majors, molecular & biomedical biology majors, or environmental studies majors (life sciences option).  More than one may be awarded each year.  ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS NOW THRU noon 1/6/2020

Dr. Merle E. Brooks Academic Achievement Award in Biology and/or Science Education

This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate student majoring in a degree program in the Department of Biology or in Biology Education in the Department of Teacher Education in the College of Education at UNO.  Candidates desire to pursue a career in the area of plant sciences, limnology (aquatic ecology) and/or teaching biological sciences at the high school level following graduation from UNO. ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS NOW THRU noon 1/6/2020

Bertrand and Marian Othmer Schultz Collegiate Scholarship

A $3,000 scholarship offered through the Nebraska Academy of Sciences to be awarded to a junior or senior pursuing a major in the Natural Sciences.

INBRE Scholarship &  Biomedical Research Experience

A $16,500 scholarship and research experience offered to selected undergraduates interested in pursuing further education in biomedical research.  ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS NOW THRU 1/20/2020.
