Alisa has lived in the Midwest her whole life. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and is currently working on her Master of Fine Arts in Fiction in the University of Nebraska-Omaha MFA program.

Alisa joined TLC in 2024 in a Graduate Assistant position, but found she loved the program and its mission so much she wanted to stay on full time.
