Wambli Sapa Memorial Powwow

In April, the Wambli Sapa Memorial Powwow is held at UNO. It is a traditional celebration honoring the legacy of a prominent Ponca leader and respected elder. The powwow brings together Native Americans and non-Natives alike.

Lavender Graduation and LGBTQIA2S+ Honors

Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted on numerous campuses to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Two-Spirit, and ally students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the university.
