  4. Safe Space Workshop & Ally Program

The Safe Space training is open to any student, faculty, or staff member who would like to learn more about supporting  lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans spectrum, queer spectrum, intersex, asexual, gender spectrum, and/or sexuality spectrum (LGBTQIA+) students, faculty, and staff.

How to Register

Register for open Safe Space trainings through Bridge in calendar view or to register a group for a training email us at unoedoutreach@unomaha.edu.

This four-hour training provides education and tools to support the LGBTQIA2S+ members of our community.

For more information, contact Aidan Maher at aidanmaher@unomaha.edu.

Request a Departmental Workshop

If you have a group of at least 10 people who would like to participate in a Safe Space Workshop, the Safe Space committee will work with your group to host a departmental workshop.

We ask for at least a month notice.

Contact unoedoutreach@unomaha.edu to make arrangements.
